Organization of your group space -2

Organizing your practical space not only creates enough space for everyone. More importantly, it makes it easy to move around during rehearsals.

Since the drum kit is almost always the largest piece, you can place it on one side of your rehearsal space or, even better, in the corner. Remember that the drum kit plays a big role in the organization, because it dictates where each equipment or instrument should be located. You should not place the drum set in the center, because it means that all the guitars and amplifiers will be constrained on one side, thereby losing half the area of the room. Wherever you place it, just make sure that your choice gives everyone enough space.

As soon as you decide where to place the drum kit, only then can you place the amplifiers. There are various ways to do this: 1) in a line on the opposite side of the room facing the drums, 2) in a circle also facing the drums, and 3) in a line in front of the drums facing away from it. The first option is good for practicing in music studios or in foundations, because all band members can hear each other in this setting, but this organization is not recommended if you as a band are planning to play in clubs or concerts. In this setup, your drummer will get used to the game until all amplifiers are in front of him, so this can lead to problems when performing a concert. The second layout is very similar to the first one, but there is a slight difference in the sound. The final arrangement is best for live performances or groups planning to do concerts in the future, because all amplifiers are looking away from the drummer.

Now that you have created your own drum kit and amplifiers, you can choose to keep your PA system on the table away from everything, allowing each participant to hear clearly and adjust according to what they hear. If you decide to do this, all PA speakers should be directed to what the amplifiers are facing.

Finally, you can use power strips to be able to connect several tools, especially if you have several sockets in the room. Connect your instruments regularly to avoid cables falling into the center of the rehearsal space, where range elements are present to reduce the risk of tripping.
