A helicopter is a flying machine that has rotating blades to give it the necessary traction, allowing it to take off and land vertically. It also has a rotary fan to ensure the stability of the aircraft. The helicopter is equipped to move in all directions in addition to being stationary in a certain place, which makes it ideal for use in crowded rooms and for observation and rescue operations that require floating around in one place.

Drawing a helicopter: we are drawing a commercial helicopter to the left.
• Basic structure
- Cabin / Fuselage: Draw a square. On the left side of it forms a right triangle.
- Tail: extend the double, slanted line from the right center of the square.
- Tail Fin: At the end of the tail, draw two sloping lines above and below it. Attach the ends to the horizontal.
- Tail rotor: form a thin and long rectangular blade on the tail fin.
- Blade axis: A small and thin rectangle forms at the top of the cabin. Draw a small circle with a diameter of about three centimeters on a rectangular axis.
- Blades: form two or four blades extending from a circular base, drawn for the axis of the blades.
- Landing floats or wheels: Give the helicopter your landing base. Make two horizontally parallel lines under the cabin. Attach them to the base of the cabin using two vertical, but slightly angular extensions. Remove all these lines. The floats also allow the helicopter to land in the water. If you want to shape the wheels, draw two at the front and one large at the back.
- Windows and doors: Draw a large rectangular windshield and a small side window. Give the helicopter a large square door for easy access.
Remove all the guiding lines and draw a clear diagram.
• Improvements and shading
- Color: Choose from a spectrum of colors for the helicopter. Ensure the use of a contrasting color around the tail end of the helicopter.
- Cabin / Fuselage: Draw a close double line around the windshield and windows. Paint it black to give it a dimension and realistic appeal.
- Tail: Personalize your helicopter by giving it unique symbols and markings.
- Blades: Shade the blades in such a way as to emit a sensation of circular motion. A slight spraying effect around the tips of the blades or a darker shade towards the inside of the blades can help achieve a perfect appearance.
