How to control dust mites in your carpet using X-Mite Anti-Allergen Carpet Cleaning Treatment -2

Carpets on our floors are an ideal environment for collecting dust mites and other common household allergens. Dust, pollen, dirt, crumbs and other debris fall to the floor and are worn in the fibers of the carpet. Since dust mites feed on human sar skin (the main component of household dust), the carpet creates a banquet feast table for dust mites. As people walk on the carpet, they excite the cooled pieces of the allergen, causing them to become airy. Once the air is transported, they are easily inhaled and cause an allergic reaction.

Most tips on creating a room for testing allergens include the removal of all carpets and carpets. The reason for this advice is that it is impossible to clean the carpet. You can certainly pay companies to clean your carpets, you can rent a carpet cleaning machine and do it yourself, you can buy one of hundreds of carpet cleaners, but none of them really clean the carpet. It is true that any of these carpet cleaning methods; will remove some of the soil and make the carpets look cleaner. But the carpet will not be clean, and allergens will not be removed or neutralized. You might think about it this way, suppose that you took a heavy sweater or shirt (with a lot of thick fibers), and threw it on the floor and walked along it for 6 months. It will be very dirty, right? Then suppose you splashed a dirty shirt / sweater with some kind of warm soapy water and then vacuumed the water with a wet vacuum system. Do you think the sweater will be clean? Of course not, and your carpets are not used after using any of the many carpet cleaning methods. That's why people with allergies or asthma are told to get rid of the carpet.

But what if you live in a situation that disrupts carpet removal? If you live on rent or are not financially positioned to replace carpet with a hard floor, you need an alternative. This alternative is to focus on allergens on the carpet and target them for destruction.

Allergies are caused by a defect in the human immune system, with the result that the harmless bits of benign proteins are incorrectly identified, and the immune system is activated when this is not necessary. Stopping an allergic reaction depends on stopping the exposure to the allergy that causes the protein. In the case of dust mites and carpets, dust mites and their faeces contain protein (Der f1 in the USA and Der p1 in Europe), which is collected in carpets. Since we have already established that you cannot clean the carpet, in order to remove this protein, you need to take a different approach.

Fortunately, proteins can be denatured (or deactivated) using extreme heat, acids, or alkalis. Once the protein is denatured, it will not cause an allergic reaction. The protein remains, but its structure has changed. This is exactly what happens when you cook egg white. White begins as a liquid consisting of about 40 different proteins; when you apply heat, the amino acids that make up proteins change structures and create new bonds. In our opinion, the eggs look cooked, but what actually happened is that the protein is denatured.

Virtually do not apply such extreme temperatures directly to carpets. The temperature required for the denaturation of proteins would destroy the carpet. Thus, the leaves and alkalis will remain in our tool box.

X-Mite Anti-Allergen Carpet Cleaning. The powder, produced by Alkaline Laboratories, uses the power of acids in tannins to denature proteins that cause allergies. Tannic acid is found in forests such as oak, mahogany and mahogany. It is also contained in tea. Alkaline Labs uses a patented process to transform it into a 3% tanacetone composition that is highly effective in denaturing animal proteins, mold, pollen and dust mites. They combine this denaturing agent with an aqueous solution of surfactants that also absorbs some soil. The result with X-Mite anti-allergen powder is that the proteins are denatured and thus become harmless, and some of the soil is removed, making clean carpets.

To use X-Mite carpet cleaner, you sprinkle wet powder on the carpet. Because it is not a fine dry powder, it appears in clumps that need to be swept into a carpet with a broom. This also leads to the fact that the active agents will be further processed in the fibers, which provides a more effective denaturing effect. After about 3 hours, the carpets are vacuumed to remove powder and absorbed soil. No need to move furniture and handle furniture.

The manufacturer recommends that you always check your product on a small hidden surface of the carpet before using it. It is of concern that any previous chemicals or cleaners that you used can interact with tanacetan and cause a reaction that can stain or discolor the carpet.

Fortunately, I was able to remove all the carpets from the house. This, of course, influenced the control of my allergies. However, until I couldn’t remove the carpets, X-Mite anti-allergic dust carpet powder was an important part of my allergy control scheme in my house.
