Glamping is not suitable for Glamor Camping. Glamping is designed for those who love nature, but are afraid of the hassle of tents, sleeping bags, dirt, creatures and excess bathrooms. It combines the luxury you expect to find at a four-star resort with some of the best aspects of camping. All rooms have air conditioning, fridge, refrigerator and microwave. We know only three California campgrounds that we will consider the true experience of stroking; El Capitan Canyon, located north of Santa Barbara along the Pacific Coast, Tri Bones Resort along the central California coast in Big Sur and Sequoia Sierra Sierra Camp in Sequoia Kings Canyon National Park.
Resort Treebones Resort is located in the center of the Big Sur on the Central Coast of California. Located 25 miles north of San Simeon and 65 miles south of Monterey, the trees sit on the side of a hill overlooking Highway 1 and the Pacific Ocean. There is a lot of solitude in the forest of the Sycamore and the red forest without any major city within a radius of 25 miles and a complete lack of cells. They offer 16 yurts with polished wooden floors, mahogany terraces, plush queen-size beds with bed linen and blankets, heaters, electric lights, hot and cold running water, and French door openings. Showers and toilets are located in the center. Resort amenities include a restaurant serving fresh gourmet sushi dishes in filet mignon, a heated pool and spa, a massage room and live music on Saturday evenings in summer. Recreational activities include hiking, kayaking, surfing, swimming and a beach combination.
El Capitan Canyon is located about 20 miles north of west Santa Barbara on Highway 1. Take the exit for Camping El Capitan and the national beach. On the ocean side of the highway is El Capitan beach with campgrounds and plenty of beach access. On the inside, El Capitan Canyon offers over 130 cabins and luxury tents along the picturesque El Capitan Bay. All rooms have a flat-screen TV, coffee maker, free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. A picnic table with benches, a grill and a fire pit is located next to each cabin for open meetings. Safari tents feature many amenities such as cabins, minus full baths and kitchenettes. El Capitan Canyon recently added Adventure Yurts to their accommodation options. In these round tent houses there are wooden platforms, electricity, standard beds and a domed hatch. Resort amenities include market and deli, a heated pool, free beach cruiser bikes and Saturday evening summer concerts. Camp products and souvenir gifts are sold on the market, and the deli serves gourmet meals and barbecues from hot dogs to knitwear. Access to the beach is only a short walk along the freeway and down the forest path through the trees to the national beach. There are no motorized vehicles in the canyon, so visitors are transported to cabins.
Sequoia High Sierra Camp is located on the Highway Generals between Logfield in Sequoia National Park and Grant Grove in Kings Canyon. Choose to arrive via a busy 12-mile trek from Highway 198 at the Logfield Visitors Center or one mile from the Marvin Pass Highway at the end of the Great Meadow Horse, Corral Road. The Sequoia High Sierra camp has 36 tent-houses with wooden floors, rugs, plush beds, down pillows, large windows, chairs and tables, daily cleaning and a toilet. Three meals a day are included in the dining tent and include a wide selection of gourmet dishes. The bath has separate showers, walk-in closets, sinks, toiletries for flash, towels and toiletries. Local activities include hiking, fishing, sightseeing, spelunking and horse riding.
Anywhere from $ 150 to $ 500 per night for two guests, glamorous camping is not a cheap alternative to hotel accommodations. In fact, most smoothing spots may be larger per night than the nearest resort. But there is something that can be said about being outdoors with no more than a layer of canvas separating you from the fresh air and wind cleaning the trees ... especially if there is no dirt. It could be argued that these resorts provide convenience more valuable than any other resort offered by brick. For those who want to spend less on something between camping and sealing, there are several options for saving tents and yurts in California. Some of these lakeside resorts offer many amenities in high Sierra camps that can be reached only after many miles of trekking. These camps have Camping Big Sur and Lake Cachuma on the Central Coast, Camping Coloma Resort in the heart of Golden Country, Tuolumne Meadows Lodge, White Wolf House, Curry Village Tent Houses and several High Sierra camps in Yosemite National Park, in Bearpaw Camp High Sierra in Sequoia National Park and in two campsites for camping and camping Hermit Gulch on Catalina Island in Southern California.
