Fishing Tips number 2 - Search for bass on a lake or river -2

Bass fishing is a very habit forming emotions. There are many bass fishermen who have not bothered to do anything. Personally, I like to fish for bass - but I don’t automatically throw any other fish just because it’s not a bass; especially chest or large blueberries and bream. I think if it's tasty, I think it's somewhere on my plate. I can say that I served the smallest trap you have ever seen when my grandchildren fished with me. They even got me a small fillet knife, so I could do my best!

But, if you are going to catch the bass, you should know the most likely places where you can find them and fish. Basses are predators, but usually only look for food. They are not like pike or musk, which will strike at something close by if it makes them angry. So the best place to look for them in the lake is somewhere natural cover where they can hide. They like to wait until the small minor swims - or in our case, our bait will pass. And then - WHAM - they run out for lunch - or - my bait, if I'm in the right place at the right time.

Where do you find this cover? In the lake it would be under a stump or under a log. In the summer, they do not like bright sunlight and keep in the shade until the right candle or bait is lit. What if there are no traps or logs in the lake? Then look for some dirty places in the water. Mr. Bass will also hide there, still sheltered from the sun and doing his own thing about dinner. If you fish in a lake with two marks / logs and weeds, you are probably in a good bass lake. If you can fish where both are present, be sure to give the lake a sincere effort to find the bass. A fishing area that turns out to be productive is always a good place to return to again. Bass will often switch to another bass. spot when the first goes away (hopefully on your stringer).

If you fish in a river, the bass will usually be in calmer waters. Unlike the trout, who love the rapids, they still need cover that protects them from sunlight and water, which will allow them to be a bit lazy until the motivation of something to eat comes near. In most rivers you can find those “pools” or large areas that do not move fast. Typically, you will find logs and sometimes stumps in these quieter areas. There are also weedy sections here, but not as often as in a lake. You can often find bass just down the river with a large bend. The water will often sway widely and give you a nice quiet area. In addition, since water slows down in this area, there will often be several logs and stumps for fishing nearby.

First of all, it is better to fish from a boat - wherever you fish for bass, but it is absolutely necessary in the river. Fishing from the bank will make you catch and hang many times and you will lose a lot of bait.

Hope this advice helps you. Will come more and on different topics. Meanwhile, great fishing for you.
