Cady Way Trail: Orlando Florida Bike Trail -2

The Cady Way Trail, which runs 7.5 miles between Orlando and Winter Park, Florida, is popular for both young and old, for cycling, recreational, jogging and speed skating. With over half a million users each year, the trail can be busy especially on weekends. Driving through various urban and suburban areas, the trail is an excellent pedestrian and bicycle connection between residential neighborhoods, schools, parks, shopping and business districts.

Built on the old railway corridor, sections of the trail are shaded by an oak dome. Around the path there are water fountains, benches and closed rest stops, with parking and other objects located on the tracks. The trail connects to the 23-mile cross-track trail and connects to the loop through the planned Baldwin Park community with its shops and restaurants. He also runs behind the Fashion Square Mall for food and shopping. The bridge over the busy SR 436 is an important addition to the trail. In some sections, the trail is divided into two parts, the middle one with pedestrians pointing in one direction and bikers / skaters in the other.

In the past, Baldwin Park, the trail includes some overhangs when it enters a more residential area in Winter Park, driving through the Winter Pines golf course before entering the Cady Way (Ward) park. Here, the trail is located near Winter Park High School and Brookshire Elementary School, creating an off-road option for students cycling to school from nearby areas.

> Cady Way Park in Seminole Fortress (2.5 miles)

The last Cadie Way Park trail runs not far from Aloma Elementary School before reaching CP 436. There is a 695-foot bridge crossing the busy road and enters a more industrial area until it reaches the Goldenrod Park. A short walk past the park leads to the end of the trail to Hall Road / Road Howell. Diagonally across the roads (be careful when crossing these busy roads) the Seminole Trail Cross begins.
