Byron Bay beaches
Located in the most eastern point of Australia, Byron Bay has many beaches, all of which are popular for various reasons. However, what distinguishes Byron Bay from most other Australian beaches is that when the wind blows on the shore, you can find another one that provides this wonderful calm Australian beach experience.
Main beach
The name says it all - this is the most popular beach of Byron Bay. It is patrolled by Surf Club Lifesavers from the Surf Club in the summer and has extensive safety guidelines that are ideal for families and those who love to take life one step at a time.
Here you can take a short walk through the bushes and rainforest to the lighthouse and the easternmost point.
If the north wind blows, just go to a cozy corner where you can take advantage of the Australian sun.
Belongil beach
Belongil Creek Hotel is located just off the main beach and stretches to Belongil Beach. Contrary to its bright neighbor, this stretch of sand provides young and old people with the opportunity to experience nature in an unspoilt state. You will be able to walk for miles, but you can simply meet people walking with their dogs (yes, this beach is friendly to dogs).
If you bring children or anyone who may be offended by nudity, then we will advise the northern beach of Belongil, where, although unofficially, those with naturist tendencies often walk or swim in a state devoid of clothing.
The passage
To the east of the main beach you will find Clarkes Beach. Only behind it is the "Pass", which is bordered on the other side by "Rybak" and the cape.
Pass is one of the most popular places for surfing in the Byron Bay area, as well as on the north coast, as well as a place where many kayaks and submarines are launched (which means that if you are in the water, take care!).
If the main beach has a southerly or eastern wind, then The Pass should be your choice.
Other beaches ..
