The newly modified Weber E-320 uses a digital igniter instead of the old flint style ignition method. It contains a crossover system in which one primary burner is ignited, which can then supply a flame to illuminate other burners.
You will admire the appearance of the E-320 with stainless steel trim and you will love how well the components are suitable for creating a fantastic heating zone. Using three burners mounted on high temperature for preheating, the Weber E-320 was able to heat up to 450 degrees in just 5 minutes.
One of the big changes in the previous Genesis is the location of the burner controls. They are now located on the right side shelf. This is a great advantage for those who have children who like to play with knobs or switches. It is also easier to see the dials without the need to tilt to make adjustments.
The only drawback I noticed is the lack of free space on the shelf. This change reduced the functional area on the right side shelf to about 9 inches, but you still have depth to work with.
As in the case of earlier versions, the E-320 maintains the marking of porcelain enamel strips. Flavorizer plates act as a lid for burners for even heat distribution and as aroma boosters that capture and evaporate droplets. I was also pleasantly surprised by the design of the Weber E-320 drip tray. A large area of fat drainage is emptied into a small disposable drip tray that rests on a raised platform.
The redesign included and launched an innovative idea. Instead of controlling the side burners in the open state, Weber moved the control stick and lit it under the lid. They are now drowned and out of your way. When not in use, they are weather protected by a burner cap. Thanks to this small design change, you can now fully utilize the lateral area of the shelf.
When cooking, you do not want to guess the temperature inside the grill. Weber has a built-in thermostat with a lid installed in the center that can measure up to 750 degrees Fahrenheit.
Another touch that you will not find on other grills is a place to hang your dishes. You do not need to worry about where your utensils are with three dish holders on both sides.
The redesigned Genesis E-320 gas grill contains rugged construction and legendary Weber cooking options, adding the many design improvements that make the 2011 Weber E-320 outstanding against competition.
