Gardnerella infection - how to cure and prevent Gardnerella infection -2

Gardnerella infection is widely known for its role as one of the organisms responsible for bacterial vaginosis (BV). BV occurs when an imbalance of the natural vaginal flora occurs. The vagina contains bacteria that help it in its natural functions. When the level of bacteria is broken, bad bacteria will multiply and this can cause infection.

Signs of Gardnerella infection that may appear include:

1. Abnormal vaginal discharge.
The normal amount of vaginal discharge that is clear, odorless is usually normal. It keeps the vagina healthy and clean. However, when it turns into a white, gray or yellowish cloud discharge with an unpleasant odor, this change may indicate that the vagina is infected

2. Itching in the skin of the vagina and surrounding area.
Vaginal itching can lead to scratching of the affected area. Avoid scratching; it will only aggravate the problem.

3. Irritation and pain.
Irritation or pain may occur during and after sexual desire. To prevent horror infections, avoid sex during treatment.

Causes of Gardnerella infection:

The cause of this disease is still unknown. Women do not get bacterial vaginosis from toilet seats, bedding, pools, or from touching objects around them. BV is not familiar with sexual contact, although it is reported that those who have never had sexual interventions are rarely affected.

However, the risk of developing this condition includes:

1. Wear tight pants or synthetic underwear that prevent airflow around the vaginal area.
2. Use products that may irritate the vagina, such as vaginal deodorant or flavored tampons
3.Douching
4. Having a new sexual partner or several sexual partners
5. Use of IUD contraception (intrauterine device)
6. Mental stress

What you should not do if you have bacterial vaginosis

1. Limit alcohol use with antibiotics.
2. Avoid sexual intercourse until the infection is cured.
3. Leaving the disease untreated. If not treated, BV can lead to serious health complications, such as pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) and can cause problems during pregnancy.

The correct diagnosis is necessary for the correct treatment of the problem. So, consult your doctor to check your health condition. Your doctor will send you to a lab, and your vaginal tissue and secretions will be examined under a microscope to determine the real cause of the infection.

As you may have guessed, the key to relieving bacterial vaginosis is maintaining the correct pH balance in the vagina. So you can stop BV from repeating. When you treat the real cause of infection with Gardnerella, this itch and fishy smell will disappear forever!
