Traveling through pregnancy to childbirth puts your body through transformations that you have probably watched with mixed emotions. While it is exciting to see signs of a new life wearing under the surface, at the same time you were probably constantly trying to figure out how you will always lose excess weight. If you do not know how to start, here are some tips on what you can do to get back to your body before pregnancy (or even better).
1. Go for a walk
Your body has gone a lot, it's great to stay away from serious exercise for 6 weeks or longer if you have had a cesarean section. As soon as you feel rested, to begin an exercise program, just start walking through the block. You do not need to go far, it is reported that pushing a stroller from 1 to 2 miles actually burns about 150 calories.
2. Strengthen, lift weight
As a new mother, you know perfectly well that you do not need to go to the gym to lift weights. You do it all the time every day! Use the weight of your new baby by holding the baby on your chest while you lunge. You can also get an excellent workout by holding the baby above the chest and slowly pressing it to the ceiling several times.
3. Increase muscle mass, take protein
One of the best ways to lose weight is to build lean muscle. When you create a lean muscle, your body burns large amounts of calories. Calories are constantly burned to support this lean muscle. This is a great benefit, because you can basically increase your metabolism simply by increasing the muscle mass in your body. Protein is a basic requirement in this process. Whey protein, in particular, is an excellent source to help the body build muscle mass. This is actually a product of the milk making process (something you need to know about now!) And is a natural way to boost your daily protein diet. It is safe, inexpensive and very effective. The second most common component of whey protein is alpha-lactalbumin, which is one of the main whey proteins in human breast milk.
4. Breastfeeding
Although breastfeeding requires you to add 500 calories to your diet, only breastfeeding actually burns 600 to 800 calories per day. Therefore, simply feeding the child, you can really lose weight. Some happy women will actually lose all their baby fat by breastfeeding alone!
5. Keep track of calories, avoid fat.
You will have to be disciplined and stay away from the empty calories found in soda and chips. Healthy foods rich in nutrients, such as fresh fruits and vegetables, low-fat dairy products and whole grains, will certainly help you lose weight and feel great. Experts discouraging a diet immediately after childbirth should think about the recovery process that your body is experiencing at this stage. Eat small, frequent meals, do not skip meals and do not forget to distribute calories throughout the day. This ensures that you will not overeat and best absorb the calories in your diet.
