Home Business Ideas for Moms: Successful Business with Children at Home -2

As it is becoming increasingly difficult in the current economy to pay for childcare costs, many mothers (and fathers) choose to work at home, taking care of their children. This allows parents to be present for millions of years of a child’s life and actively participate in their daily activities, as well as save on expenses for external work (for example, commuting, meals, uniforms / dry cleaning, etc.). Despite the fact that these benefits are many, there are also problems that need to be welcomed so that parents can successfully complete vocational training while raising, teaching and providing for their children. These 10 lifestyle changes will help you prioritize your schedule and encourage success in both work and parenting:

1. Get up at least 30 minutes earlier than your children! I know that the dream has surpassed, but to spend a few quiet, uninterrupted moments to get dressed and plan your list for this day will reward you many times. In the afternoon, quiet time / time for your children (depending on the age of your children) is also a lifeguard for at least an hour of good time. Plan it on your day! My eldest daughter (11) uses this time to sew in her room, while my son (9) builds masterpieces with Legos or Contraptions. I plan this time to coincide with the day dream book of my baby and do most of my work during the day during this period of time.

2 organize your work area, which also includes your home, as this is an extension of your work area. It’s almost impossible to concentrate on profitable projects when the table is littered with papers, all horizontal surfaces are covered, and nothing is where it belongs (or even there is a place where it belongs!) This overloads your mind with distractions and sabotage your time management, because nothing can never find it. Spend time (several days if necessary) to clear and allow each area and start a new life.

3 Make a toy box. If you have children of preschool age or children of preschool age, keep a laundry basket filled with your favorite toys and pull it out only during working hours. Blocks, books and puzzles are great! Your children are looking forward to the special time of the day when they are allowed to play with their favorite toys, and you can complete tasks in the same room with them during the game. Be sure to put the basket out of sight and reach when the business problem is solved in order to preserve the new and exciting charm of these toys.

4. Using a restrictive screen. You will be tempted to place your preschooler in front of educational television and your older child with an additional laptop or smartphone, but do not give in to desire! Yes, they will be calm and absorbed in entertainment, but it is detrimental to them and can very negatively affect their physical and mental development. Depending on your age, you can allow 30 minutes - 1 hour of using a TV or a technical gadget per day for each child, and planning these minutes for the most intensive work sessions can be useful.

5. Take mom's mate. If your profession requires your small children to take care of themselves for a couple of hours a day, think about the “mate mate” instead. An elder child or premath, who is not yet old enough to look after himself, can be a great help to entertain your children while at home with you and under your supervision. They will often work for the minimum amount compared to baby food (of course, of course, with their parents, of course), and this can be a positive experience in the first place.

6 Implement the Chores / Cleaning procedure. Stop cleaning the marathon as soon as you finish the initial removal and cleaning of your house (see Review No. 2)! You should have a daily plan, and different methods work for different situations. Consider sharing your weekly work throughout the week: vacuum on Mondays, waving and mop on Tuesdays, clean bathrooms on Wednesdays, etc. Wash a load (or two) of clothes daily, dry them and clean them. Or, if you prefer a one-day working day, a delegate is 2 hours on Fridays for the main cleaning procedure. You will find that keeping your house in an impregnable and organized state will save you time for cleaning! If your children are old enough, engage them in weekly duties. My old children vacuum and dust their rooms, and one cleans the toilet and sinks in its bathroom, and the other cleans the bath. One sweeps the floor in the bathroom, and the other flings him. Every week they earn money by performing their duties well and without complaining. Spend 15 minutes a day (set a timer), removing the clutter from a single room / area, or doing child cleaning (windows, corners, etc.) to stay on top of these “extra” duties. Be sure to put the dishes in / out the dishwasher daily, clean the table, go through the mail and put things when you use them. It will change your prediction as well as your results!

7 Design a replay menu. If you are already cooking with a creative variety and serve only the most nutritious meals without stress or fatigue, skip this tip. If, however, cooking is still overwhelming, and takeaway is becoming an increasingly regular option, while you are dreaming of gourmet dishes that you will be cooking in the future, here’s the solution: Make the same thing for you basic “family favorite” menu every week. This is the food that you know that your children love (nutritious, yes), and you have cooked them a million times, so you do not need to spend a lot of energy on preparation. If there are 14 family favorites that are pretty quick and not very effective, create a rotating two-week menu. If you have only seven, repeat the same week again and again. Now that you've made your food list, choose a day to serve each (for example, Friday is homemade pizza at my house. Mondays every week: blackened chicken paste with salad and cheese. Idea.) Now it takes a few minutes, but you need do it only once! List the ingredients you need for each nutritional week (on paper or in a spreadsheet where you can easily reorganize or even a shopping list application on your phone). Reorganize the list at the location of the goods in your favorite supermarket (canned food, meat, food, etc.). Now you have a weekly list of products! Make copies to take to the grocery store to mark when you fill your cart. Stop stressing and buying the same things over and over again! If you want to cook something different and fun at the weekend or once a week, leave space for writing in new recipes and develop a day to prepare it. Adapt it to work for you and your lifestyle.

8. Invest in quality time. The truth is that quality and quantity of time are important to your children. It is easy to forget that just because children are always with you, it does not mean that you are really with them. When your mind is focused on work and you are not leaving a literal office building, it may be even harder to put off work and give your children your close attention. It is very important that you find a way to contact them! Try setting the timer for 30 minutes several times a day to look at your child’s eyes when he or she talks to you and plays with him or with her or something in common. In addition, after dinner is over and the kitchen is clean, take the time to read with your children and show them your affection. You need them, not only your physical presence, but also your mental and emotional presence. Providing them with your full attention on a specially scheduled timeline will help you not to disturb the “assignment”, but will also help your children not be as needy at a time when you should focus on your professional tasks. They will come to enjoy and excitedly anticipate their individual daily time with you (and you will be amazed at how you will feel with them and how it will bless your own heart!)

9. Eliminate time. You probably already know that they have no special introspection, but you still spend a few minutes and list the actions that you usually use as deviations from your duties. Maybe it's a social network or a television channel or ... you have an idea. Regardless of what helps you to delay, you need to hold back a certain period of time, and then clean up for a day. For example, you can have a cup of coffee in the morning, while you spend 30 minutes of computer time on your personal interests, and then enter an email within 15 minutes after dinner. The important thing is that you have a plan and stick to it, so that sabotage is no longer a time when you can connect to your children and / or make a profit from your work. In addition, think over your routine and find ways to make it more orderly: quickly clean the sink and clean the toilet as soon as you finish preparing for the morning in the morning and don't go back until it becomes necessary. Clean after eating before leaving the kitchen. Ask your older children to bring their dirty clothes and put them in the washing machine instead of going to each room to do it yourself. Find ways to save steps and, subsequently, save energy and time. You will find yourself getting better and better when you start practicing it.

10. Refueling. For most moms I know, this is the most difficult assignment to save, but this is the most important. The stresses of work, education, and life in general affect your mind, body, and spirit. You absolutely must plan a vacation! Daily exercise. (This can be done when your children run around your yard. Take a soothing bath after the children are in bed. Spend a few minutes reading before going to bed instead of watching TV, as this helps your body to relax, and your sleep more calm down. Connect with your spouse and invest in your relationship. Go to bed within a reasonable time, instead of going to bed. Set aside Saturday (or at least most of them) as a family day, when your kids recognize you n They will work at your table and make phone calls all day long, you need it, and they need it. On Sundays it is a day of rest in our family. We go to church to worship and spend the day just together. Raising your spirit and the benefits will amaze you. Rest is not lazy. This is a very necessary delay from daily grinding, and it actually feeds and feeds your productivity and success.

These life improvements can be gradually added to your routine. Take one step at a time and do not allow yourself to be overloaded with all the changes you are trying to make. Allow yourself (and your schedule) to be flexible. No one can watch every one of them every day: children get sick, obligations change, holidays take place. Focus instead on what you can realize now and reap the benefits when you grow, learn and discover your biggest and best life in your family!
