January is always the beginning of the boat show season across North America.
To begin the season of boat shows, in 2011, the exhibition of boats and fishing of America, which will be held January 14-23. The show is located in the IX Cleveland Center.
I recently spoke with Mike DiLorenzo, a Boat Show representative, with the Lake Erie Marine Traders Association, and I had the opportunity to ask him some questions about this summer show;
1. What would you say is an obligatory “practical workshop” to be held this year?
Last year, we updated our line of Angler loudspeakers in Alley, which included the best professionals, tournament winners and experts that were available, and visitors responded so well that we had to add extra rows of chairs after the first day.
At the 2011 exhibition, we are going to spend four Angler colleges on four days off; each of which covered zander, bass, fishing electronics and Steelhead. Mike Knieppenberg and Ryan Budei, the team of this year this year, will be performing on the show on January 15 and 19, 2010. The WorldWall Jonnie Candy World Volleyball Championship will be January 21, 22. 23. In general, there will be many speakers on the show.
2. What has always been or will be the “most popular exhibition”?
People always come and always come on a large selection of boats; they really are the stars of the show.
The variety of water ships on our show is impossible to compare, and I think it is really beneficial for visitors to have a one-stop shop for everything from large cruisers and fishing boats to sports boats, sailboats, pontoons and personal water transport.
3. In your opinion, what is the "attraction number 1" of this year? "
We, fortunately, hooked offshore racing boat - Time Bandit Super V Lite boat for the second half of the show, January 20-23. Visitors will be able to see the 90-meter ship and meet with the owner / driver Bob Mazikovski. Bob is no stranger to the boat winning the championships at national and world competitions in his 11-year career. Also, do not forget to see Travis Lofland, who will compete as a choke on a fishing boat Wizard.
People coming a few days before his arrival will want to check out the timeless wooden boats, which will be represented by the North Atlantic Antique Boat Society, the Lyman Boat Owners Association and the Cleveland Boat and Boat Club.
4. What will be your most frequently asked questions this year?
People always ask about discounts, and this year we will offer a lot. $ 2-off tickets are sold at all Marl's stores in the Cleveland area right now and on Tuesday, January 18, we will hold a cannery. A visitor to the show, who brings 4 canned goods to help fill a small boat, will receive a reward for visiting the exhibition for free.
The days for nothing in the Gulf on Wednesday, January 19th and on Thursday, January 20th, will be marked by 5 dollars after 5 promotions.
At 17:00 every night the cost of the entrance fee will be reduced to $ 5. On Thursday nights, regular entertainment is held at the South Bass Island Hotel.
5. What is “new” this year?
A new stage “Cruising Life Scene” will be organized for demonstrations on diesel mechanics, sailing boat, how to cook using small galleys, as well as showing in regional areas.
The popular Pre-owned Pavilion, which debuted at the 2010 exhibition with quality used boats from several exhibitors, will return with the regional themed panels of the Put-in-Bay pavilion, Destination Vermilion and Destination Sandusky.
Looks like another great show this year, Mike, thanks for sharing with us.
