
Located on the Red River on the border of Texas and Oklahoma, northwest of Denison Texas, west of Highway 75.
Known for its excellent bass fishing, it is also known for its upscale marinas and resorts. Fisherman likes to fish on Lake Texoma.
Crappie is best during the fall and winter months. Try bales, submerged trees and streams. Boat houses are also a good place for fishing.
Channel catfish is good all year round at the mouths of the stream. Use cut champignons or shrimps, blood bait, dough bait or smelly bait, also try drift-net fishing with shrimps along rocky coastlines and ripar.
Lake Texoma Bluegill fishing is great for about a year around live worms or crickets. Target a piggy bank in deeper water (8 feet or more) near the beginning of the slope.
The pool level is approximately 615 ft. M. With an average fluctuation of 5 to 8 feet per year. Normal water in the lake is moderate. It has an area of 74,686 acres with a maximum depth of 100 feet.
