Dartboards are usually made of sisal fiber and thin metal wires of each section. Figures showing sliding sections on a board are usually made of wire. The target is divided into twenty sections, each of which has a mark from one to twenty points, wires that extend from a small inner circle to the outer circular wire.
1. Suspension procedure:
The dartboard should be hung so that the distance using the center of the bull's-eye as a reference point is five feet and eight inches parallel to the hockey line. Hang the target on a stand, such as a shield or any type, such as plywood, to prevent accidental wild darts from breaking the wall. Ideally, the support is twice the size of the board, and you can cover it with either felt paper or cloth to make it look neat. Also make sure that the back end is firmly fixed to the wall and should not fluctuate or vibrate when hit in darts. Hockey or line measurements must be 7 feet 9.25 inches from the surface of the board horizontally to the floor. To get a measurement of accuracy, start with the line from the bull's-eye, going down to the floor, measuring 9 feet 7 3/8 inches.
2. Lighting
Install some lighting. Shadows can be created due to poor lighting. Raise a bright light, making sure that it is concentrated and aimed at the board. Place a cover to hold incoming darts, as well as to hold back the light, away from the thrower's eyes. Your lighting should be configured so that it radiates the entire area of the board, without creating a shadow and does not interfere with your throw. The location of the scoreboard should be on both sides of the board and not interfere with the next player shot if you score. The size of the scoreboard will depend on you. If you plan to have a lot of people, a wide scoreboard may be the best choice, so you can write problems away from the assessment. There are many types of boards, so choose the one with which you are comfortable. While others prefer the classic blackboard and chalk, you cannot, because it creates fine dust that falls on your hands and fingers, and you may also be allergic to small particles. If yes, then there are many alternatives.
3. Scoring:
Traditionally, the target sections of the grains are numbered and painted black and yellow. By hitting one of the large numbered sections you rate according to the meaning of this section. By hitting the thin outer part of the board, which is red and green, you get a double point, regardless of the value of this particular section. Similarly, when you press the thin inner part of these sections, being halfway between the central circle colored in red or green and the outer wire, your score will triple the points of any value that is embedded in this section. The attack on the apple or the inner red area is fifty points, and the hit in the green outer ring is twenty-five points. There is no assessment when you get outside of the external wire. Any dart that rushes on board but does not remain on the board, for example, a jumping dart or a dart that fell after it was thrown does not cause anything. Some rules, however, make it possible to score if the dart falls into the obvious section of the assessment, and then falls and is worn before it reaches the ground or the floor.
4. Types of Dartboard:
Traditional bristle target
The bristles have a function to hold onto the darts so that it does not easily fall to the surface and pierce it. He naturally heals himself if cleansed and the dust removed.
Magnetic target
A dart without a needle, it uses high energy magnets to make darts stick to the board. This board is made of rubberized iron to attract the magnet. This is a great game for kids. Very safe and attractive because the cartoon characters are displayed on the front panel.
