Barbecue grills are not going to make a gas grill or coal grill, which does not have an attractive curve. Why should they, when this is almost all that they have for them, except for the cheap price of a barbecue grill. While the containment attractively goes along the way, you need to open the lid and look at the most important parts, such as kitchen grates, burners, a device that is between the burner and kitchen nets and what material inside the barbecue is made of. Most gas grills, even cheap ones, will have a decent set of stainless steel or cast iron kitchen nets, but try to stay away from porcelain nets, because the porcelain coating will always wear out and rust.
Cast iron grates require a bit more maintenance, such as seasoning and maintaining their blur, but they keep their heat and meat for catching better than any other grates. Stainless steel is the easiest to maintain and will still attract splash marks. The burners are the most important part of the barbecue, so bring a magnet with you to make sure the burners are made of steel. If the magnet will stick to the burner, do not expect it to last more than one season, because they will rust quickly due to heat, salt and fat. Some cast iron burners are suitable if they are made from high-quality iron, but the burner ports still need to be cleaned so often, because the cast iron will rust, causing the port not to allow gas, which will lead to lower temperatures and hot spots in the grill area. Burners with a stainless steel tube are used in most barbecue grills, made and made of high quality 304 stainless steel, they will last from 5 to 7 years depending on how often you cook. The best is a cast stainless steel burner found in Fire Magic grids and several other brands.
Cast stainless steel will never rust, and heat, salt and grease will not affect performance. The device between the burner and kitchen grates is sometimes called rock, lava coals, flame tamers, flavor net, heat spreader, etc., which will have the most wear because it has a high temperature from the burners under it, and salts and lubricant are dripping from the food above. If this device is made of steel with a porcelain coating, do not expect it to be at best more than a year. Look for a high quality stainless steel product that has a warranty of at least 2 years. Return to curbing attractiveness if you see all the stainless steel gas grills, which does not mean that the inside of the grille is made of stainless steel. Most low-cost stainless steel models will have a porcelain-coated steel lining inside the barbecue and last only about a year, and then rusty. This will leave you with a pretty grill outside and not so functional inside.
Having been in the barbecue industry for many years, I carried a large number of barbecue grill brands, including an inexpensive large attractive grill. Now I only wear brands that are manufactured in the US, and that I can get parts and spare parts that are under warranty when the time comes. There is no worse feeling when a customer returns to buy spare parts for their low-cost barbecue, which they bought just a year ago, and I learned that the production no longer offers parts. So the question is, is it price or price? If it costs, you will pay more for an inexpensive barbecue grill over time, because you have to replace parts or the entire unit per year. If this is the initial price of an expensive high-quality gas grill, you don’t like what you have to keep in mind that you’ll only have one price and don’t have to spend money every year to save it. And the most important part for me is the same grill for many years, because I already know how it cooks.
