Season you either love or hate. Spring cleaning has always been the same as the idea began: it's time to do what you are too lazy to do more than once a year. But some actually love to do spring cleaning and what it entails. Some may not even have a spring harvest, because they just do it the way they see it done.
I recommend these people because I absolutely, no doubt, hate deep cleaning. But over the years I have had to learn that this does not mean to love him or to hate him - his standard of living. I refuse to live in a dirty house, so this must be done.
If you haven't thought about anything, here are some spring cleaning tips.
Pressure washing
No one else puts pressure on enough loans. In addition, no one thinks that outside the house you need to stay clean. I mean, so they call it out for some reason. Let nature do its work. But nature also brings bacteria, mold and mistakes when you do not want it. This amazing machine can do so much that you do not think about sanitizing and cleaning the outside of your home.
Pressure flushes the exterior of your home to remove mold / mold, towels, bee / wasp, pollen / allergens. Pressure flushes out your driveway for an attractive curve, back patio and pool deck, fence, or even outside your car for quick cleaning.
And these kids are also not that expensive, so they are easy to use with a hose connection, and it’s actually fun to use if you like viewing satisfaction with dirty surfaces that just melt (I know I know!). It depends on how powerful one you want and whether it is gas or electricity. I have only the middle class, light electric, which you can find here.
Moving and cleaning under all large furniture.
Like your bedroom furniture, the couch, etc. So many allergens, hair and dust that have passed from the vacuum cleaner around them and from the vents through your house, they settle in these areas. In addition, there are places for recreation, and this is the last thing you want to think that you sleep at night.
In addition, you never know what kind of trash, food and missing things are hidden under large, heavy pieces of furniture. Cleaning under small trapped areas can also facilitate the appearance of bacteria.
Microfiber / Old Tees instead of sponges
In a year you will go out and buy more sponges than you can count on. You probably use them for dishes, clean the shower, bath and countertops. Sponges are not cheap if you think about the number of uses you get from one and how many of them are included in the package. They contain so many bacteria, because their job is that it’s true, but then they accumulate and stay there over time, and then you just spread them around your house.
I throw out the sponges after two weeks, clean the dishwasher between them and still depending on what it was used for, because I can just throw them away after one use.
But then I found out about Microfiber fabrics. Now I know what you think: what difference does it make if someone does his job? I will not change my habit on the sponge for a piece of cloth. This is all true, but in fact, microfiber is great for cleaning because it is more absorbent and has a positive charge that attracts negatively charged dirt, microbes, dirt and grease - and that is without the use of a cleaning agent! The only fall to them is that you will need to wash them separately or with lighter weights, since they very easily attract dirt and hair.
Thus, you can use them for almost everything you do around the house: washing and drying dishes, wiping worktops, cleaning surfaces, cleaning windows, wiping a shower, bath or toilet, or cleaning the floor of floors. Ultimately, they are durable and inexpensive - they keep your home bacteria and free from bacteria when you use them without spreading them.
Another thing you could do — if you have unwanted, painted or old t-shirts — is to cut pieces that you can use to dust, polish wooden furniture, clean windows, and light restrooms. They are as easy as washing and can be reused to accomplish such tasks.
Snow-drain your drains (without Drano!)
There are old pipes in my house, so harsh chemicals and liquids can be quite destructive in the case of older plumbing. And it is simply harmful to the environment, period. So I did it in my family to have these little drainage snakes in every bathroom. Work is not the most attractive, but again, if you work to meet your needs, this is great when you notice how much material gets into your drains.
These little plastic snakes have needles that go in the opposite direction, so when you put them down the drain and pull them in, he literally catches everything in his path. And I say everything from mold to coarse lumps of toothpaste, which are stuck to the hair from past days.
Do this weekly or monthly, and you are guaranteed less problems with clogging during the year!
Cleaning to the bottom
Cleaning the whole house - a phased equation in itself! And to do it right, there are steps that need to be taken, otherwise you will do the same steps over and over again. And it is ineffective. Therefore, when you clean, start cleaning from top to bottom, so let's say you spray your fans' blades, dust that falls, falls on the floor, and floors are the last thing to clean.
Spray / wash / wipe these windows
Once a year I do my best to do it: spray curtains on all windows in the house. You would not believe how dusty people get especially if you do not use them every day. However, the dust that passes through the house gets trapped on them, and if they are not cleaned regularly, they can get stuck so badly that they need to be cleaned with soap and water. And this is what I do once a year, and the light dusting them between dry Swiffer.
It is very easy to remove the curtains, spray them with a hose and let them dry for a day or two outside. It makes the world a difference with dust.
Loosen these cabinets
These kitchen cabinets or bathroom cabinets where cooking grease and oil drip and spray every day. Or even if you have pets that wipe themselves against them, spreading the oils and dander of pets that ever stick on these surfaces. Both your own skin and oils that are collected from the same area that you touch and reach to open with time.
With microfiber cloth, soap and water, you can easily break off and disinfect these cabinets as new. They will not be sticky and slimy, and in fact they will become brighter and lighter. Those that are in your bathroom as well, especially if you have those in your cottage who tend to forget to wash their hands after using the bathroom. Ik!
Wash these windows (and not just Windex!)
After using Windex, these chemicals will always be overwhelmed, and soon or later they do not look very transparent and shiny, as the product promises. Once a year it is a good idea to clean your glass windows with gentle soap and water or even a little vinegar to help remove the vacuum cleaner.
Another tip: instead of wasting paper towels, you can again use a microfiber cloth to light up these glass windows, or use an old trick to clean them from the newspaper. I don’t know why it works, but it does, and it works very well.
Re-seal / print as needed
Sometimes it may be necessary to replace the cone around your house. Especially if they get wet often. This can lead to the formation of mold and mildew, and may never come off the beach or a soft bush, no matter how hard you clean it. Fortunately, it is very easy to remove a caulker with a removal tool, and now it does come in liquid form.
Personally, I like the real tool, because it is faster and easier to use to remove all the old plugs. And it is also very easy to place, without any experience.
For capping 100% silicone is the way to go when it comes to soaking in areas such as kitchen, bathroom, sinks and showers. Silicone mildew resistant.
Clean the dishwasher
You would never think, right? Wrong. Your dishwasher needs love, as well as after it has done the dirty work of cleaning up spaghetti. Many dishwashers come with a cleaning cycle — every time, every six months, and even wipe the inside with mild soap, vinegar, and water to further remove bacteria.
Polish what bake
If you never do this, you are probably one of those who have burnt pieces of grease, dirt and food particles in the oven. I know that I am also to blame for this. But when you bake this cake and everything that you feel coming from your oven, this stench of something burns - perhaps your oven will inform you about it.
Sometimes this requires actual scraping of stuck on a charred mess, and most of the time, many of the stains and color of the fat are never completely removed. But if you at least clean the extra pieces of food and dirt grown every six months to a year, your oven will thank you.
Recently, in my mom's house, I noticed that she has ovens in the bottom of her oven. Genius! Ideal for lazy cleaning ovens for all of us, because who really wants to sit there and scrape off the burnt old food and fat?
Clean / Wipe This Fridge
Once a year it is a good idea to stop by, pull out everything (maybe throw away that expired ketchup that you put), and wipe it from the inside. It eliminates collected bacteria, food and odors in your refrigerator. As a rule, I will use microfiber cloth, vinegar and water and wipe the shelves, walls and floor of the refrigerator.
Cleaning the fridge also includes a freezer, do not forget!
Bring life back to your carpet
I am not talking about a regular, old, fast carpet vacuum. Give your carpet a little love, be it a whole room or just a rug. I use a high throughput sprayer to raise a dull and lifeless carpet from high traffic, and it leaves the carpet smelling fresh and clean.
As a rule, I will spray the area and allow the foam to sit for at least 10 minutes. Then, with a clean cleaning brush (a long, cleaned cleaning brush is best suited for this, so you use more lubricant elbow in a larger area), scrub the area with foam in all directions. Not just a scrub in the direction in which the carpet falls - you are trying to revive these fibers, so wipe them where it falls. Now, either with a deep vacuum cleaner or carpeted floor for 6-12 hours before vacuuming with a normal dry vacuum, you will be evacuated, as usual, to an increased area in all directions.
I just recently received a Shark Rotator Lift-Away True Pet for Christmas after our 10-year-old vacuum cleaner shrunk and let me tell you - with two hairy, flowing dogs and with dust 3 times a week before, it was three days since the vacuum cleaner went on and i'm really impressed!
Clean / reorganize cabinets
Get rid of clothes that you do not wear, boxes, trinkets, old sheets or just junk that you no longer need. Reorganizing your cabinets frees up space and reduces clutter around your entire home. It also reduces the number of items for dust, dandruff and allergens to cling to this journey through the bedroom.
Wash washing machine
If you have a newer model of washing machine, your washer probably has a “cleaning”, the cycle is already set. Use it every 6-12 months. If you have an old washer (for example, I), fill your washing machine with hot water, some baking soda, or a small amount of bleach, and let the finish finish.
Doing this dumps the remaining dirty water and residue from the dirty laundry over time.
Wash cushions (not just cases!)
When I moved with my husband and did not know his sleep pillows, the first time I washed bedding ... I was humiliated. They were painted in yellow, orange color. I could not believe what I see.
Sweat, oil, skin, dandruff and bacteria can and will pass through your pillowcases and into pillows. Rinse them every 6-12 months for a gentle cycle.
Give your walls a new coat
It is so easy to do that it almost deceives your way in giving your home a tiny make-up with a good excuse. A fresh coat of paint covers any smells soaked in old paint on the walls (or at least I noticed that this is so), it brightens the room, as the sun disappears in time with paint, and in general a good way to have a fresh start to spring cleaning.
