1. Paper, board illustration, canvas
There are different surfaces for different environments such as pencil, pen, tags or paint. First of all, I propose to use inexpensive paper for copying machines. A strip of paper number 20 is available in the shops of office or art stores. Recently, you can purchase more expensive surfaces for your finished works of art.
2. Erasers
There are several different types of erasers. I do not mean the eraser that comes with a pencil. For light pencil marks, pink erasers of various shapes are used. I prefer a kneaded rubber eraser, because it can be shaped to erase small areas, kneading it like a piece of clay. And, most importantly, it leaves no dirty crumbs.
3. Pencils, Pens, Pastels
There are different environments that are available, and different effects that each produces. I suggest using pencil 2B for beginners. There are pencil frames for artists who have a full range of wires that start from the 2nd light (hard wire) to the darkest 6B (soft wire). The most used pencils for the beginning artist are 2H, HB, 2B, 4B and 6B. Soon, the artist will want to experiment with other materials, such as colored pencils, pastels, pen and ink
4. Pencil Sharpener
Keep your pencils sharp so that your drawings are sharp. The electric sharpener works best, but the old manual-operated pen or manual job also works.
5. T-Square, Triangle and Ruler
A T-square passes through the straight edge of your drawing board and gives you serial parallel lines. With a triangle, you can reach perfect right angles or just use it to create straight lines. Together they can be used to measure and add perspectives for your work. Rulers are needed to make sure your drawings fit normal or standard sizes.
6. Cutting knife
Used to cut tiny areas, making straight cuts with a metal ruler to cut out excess substrate from your works of art.
7. Table of drawings
An adjustable drawing table, also called a draftsman's table, should help make the artist comfortable when he is in the drawing position. For some artists working on a flat table works just as well. You can also create an alternative to an adjustable table using a piece of wood approximately 18 "x 24". Then he can be propped up with your feet or books on the table at any angle.
8. Lamp or light source
To create the best art, you need the best light. Place the lamp or yourself in the right place so as not to tarnish your artistic work. There is no more important piece of art to add to your art than a good artist lamp. When you have a lot of lighting in your work space, you can get a full assessment of color, contrast and composition. The best source of light is out of light. Therefore, when setting up the workspace, be sure to be near the window.
9. Chairman
Convenience both at your desk and at the beach is so important. You want to be relaxed, but not too comfortable to sleep. Being in the same position for a long time can damage your back or lose blood circulation in your legs, arms, and even hands.
10. Light box
Light box will help the artist to see 2-3 sheets of paper at a time. This helps the artist to outline his rough sketches in the new lines on the new sheet. It also allows you to reposition your artwork in retrospect in order to develop an improved composition.
