· When you use garbage collection, it is better if you run water during the process, as this will help the device get rid of food particles that may get into the body. Also, put a cork in the sink, fill the basin with water to around the midpoint and pour part of the dishwasher or vinegar into it, and then turn it on to easily get rid of food debris.
· You can also use ice salt and rock salt to clean your sink. Simply pour a large ice cube cup at your disposal, and when you switch the disposal unit, also add half a cup of rock salt to it. The combination of ice cubes and rock salt will easily clean all remnants of food particles that cause an unpleasant odor.
· Citrus fruits are another best and easiest way to clear garbage collection. Cut a lemon, lime or orange into small pieces, remove all the seeds and put them in place and turn them on. The juice of these fruits will remove unpleasant odors, and peels will provide effective cleaning of the walls and blades.
· Another effective way to keep cleaning and scavenging garbage is to perform a routine flush. When you use garbage disposal, you must pass hot water through it for at least one minute. It is good enough to wash the specks through the sewer pipes of your house.
· If you cannot easily clean the garbage collection, you need to switch to using durable cleaning solutions, for example, along with soda and vinegar. But you must be careful with rubber valves at your disposal, since they can be damaged by the acidic qualities of vinegar. Therefore, before going on this cleaning method, remove the rubber dampers, then completely fill the drainage zone with baking soda and add vinegar to it, then leave the solution for an hour, then rinse it with cold water and let it run for at least a minute. Using vinegar will not only eliminate unpleasant smells, but also kill bacteria.

Take a gallon of water into a clean container, add one tablespoon of liquid bleach to it, and then very carefully pour the solution into the device and let it sit there for a few minutes. After that, thoroughly rinse the drain with hot or hot water for a few minutes; do not use cold water, as the bleach is anti-bacterial, but it also hardens if cold water is used.
· If you have large chunks of food or any other items in your garbage, you must manually remove them with forceps or pliers, never use your hands to remove items from the disposal, as the removal blades can cause you injury.
