The restorative power of gratitude -2

When the concept of gratitude was first mentioned, I completely (but politely) rejected it. I had no idea what I missed.

Summary: I have experienced a particularly difficult time in my life. I switched my career to everyone, and I had a bad time. I was without money, and my business was going down. On top of that, I had to deal with debilitating migraines on a regular basis.

I needed a way out, but I didn't have it! I felt stuck, and I was very worried that I could return to being addicted in adulthood. This regression would deal with a blow to my self-esteem, a cripple of my self-confidence and the cultivation of thoughts of shame.

In any case, I eventually began to publish on a regular basis, and part of my letter included things for which I am grateful. Two months later, I noticed brighter days, better sleep, less pain and less anxiety.

Gratitude is a force that remains largely unused. So great is his strength that the University of California at Berkeley allocated $ 3.1 million specifically to explore gratitude and its impact on well-being through their Big Science Center.

I will describe the internal mechanisms of this simple exercise and change my life forever.

  1. More creative power : Anxiety is the number one killer of all creative power. Worry paves the way for many “what if” to arise when an idea comes to mind. Being grateful for the regular thin short circuit that comes with the new territory. To make your dreams ripe, you must go to a new territory. Just by writing down what you are grateful for, you will turn your attention away from what will not work to what may work. It eliminates " what if? “Who freeze creative thoughts in infancy.”

  2. Health improvement : It is well known that negativity is associated with certain degenerative conditions (partly due to the excessive stress of hormones that are rough through your system). As a former patient with fibromyalgia, I can tell you for free that you do not want excessive stress in your body! Your body is sick even without a trigger. Your body will interpret any emotion as pain. With constant pain, reliance on painkillers arises, which is as bad as drugs! The gratitude of a journalist made me be at the moment. I found that I have time to warm myself when the sun came out breathing fresh air. On my list was my wonderful dog, and I instinctively made her more time. Pets are therapeutic, and my dog helped me with some problems of loneliness and arrogance.

  3. Increased productivity : More time for Lola, my dog, prompted me to learn to devote time to what is important to me. With a lot of time related to the fact that I got carried away, I found that I read everything I could find while improving my business. I read books that I thought I never had time to do. I listened to seminars and joined peer groups to improve myself and guessed that! My business started to improve. I still do not want it to be, but I can clearly see the ascending path. I developed my skills to satisfy my passion, and this leads to the greater impact of my business. I am a writer keen on dogs. Writing about dogs connected me with many dog owners in my area, which in turn has become an effective marketing tool for my food business. When people see your faith and zeal in what you do, they will invest in you (and buy from you)!

  4. Greater stability A: Today, many months after my ritual of gratitude, I admit that life is far from perfect. I still have a long way to go financially, but I do not feel stuck. My business is still a helpless child, but I still find the energy to continue to improve my products. I still encounter people who reduce me on the basis of my own prejudices, but I have learned not to own their prejudices — if they have a problem with what I do, then the problem is with them. I also learned to digest criticism in such a way that I internalize the constructive part and reject the shrinking part.

  5. More awareness : Write down what you are grateful for at the moment. Developing awareness has many benefits. From fine tuning your instinct to improving creativity, self-awareness allows you to be clear about yourself. You will notice what is good and what needs to be improved and guessed, you will not feel exhausted when not very good areas of your life are opened. In addition, you will have more commitment to work on yourself. We all know how sweet the fruits of self-improvement are.
Gratitude is not only about learning the mouth of “thank you” to everyone. It is internal; personal experience. And it will change your life. This is a life skill that will stay with you for life. So start today. Take only ten minutes each day to remember what made you happy that day. It will take a little time to pass, but the effect will last a lifetime!
