1785 Inn & Restaurant - The Wine Spectator Restaurant said that the 1785 Inn & Restaurant has one of the best wines in the world. I saw a fancy lounge with an incredibly unusual upturned Christmas tree with bottles “to the touch” in the form of ornaments and bunches of fresh grapes, providing a lot of joy. The hosts, Becky and Charlie Mallar, welcomed us to their impressive hotel with beautiful furniture and attention to detail, just a little less impressive than the views. They offer excellent dining with a menu that made me want me to not be so full of cookies from the Inn-to-Inn Cookie Tour! Sitting on 6 acres of beautiful real estate, the Inn offers access to the XC ski slopes, beautiful gardens, a swimming pool and did I mention these views? A large private room with a view runs from $ 119 a week to $ 199.
House of Admiral Piri. Although Admiral Pirie’s home is in Freiburg, Maine, he is a member of Mt. Washington Valley B & B and therefore listed here. This hotel is the former home of Admiral Robert Piri, an arctic explorer. When you enter the informal living room (with fireplace and pool table) from the 3-storey porch that serves as the entrance to the Inn, you will immediately feel the charm of this hotel. The owners of the Inn, who speak with obvious Australian accents, Hilary Jones and Derrek Schlottman, welcome you to their sunny kitchen, where they seem most at home. The hotel is warm and sunny, but I saw photos of the rooms, as they were not available for personal viewing. Prices range from 95 to 185 dollars.
Bartlett Inn - located in Bartlett, this hotel is under construction; The living room floors are some of the most refurbished floors I have ever seen, but most of the others need to be redone. Guests can hike, bike, snow shoe or ski the XC from the back door of this interesting hotel. We examined three rooms in which there were interesting corners, cracks and niches. Their prices are very reasonable, but the rooms are a bit small (but include a fireplace).
Covered bridge house - if you are looking for fantasy, this is not the place for you; If you are looking for a cozy and homely, it is. Originally built in 1850, this hotel offers small but cozy rooms and very friendly hosts who want to please their guests. They offer reasonable rates, an outdoor hot tub, but only 6 rooms.
Darby Field Restaurant & Inn - The Darby Field Inn offers outstanding guest rooms, as well as a full service bar and restaurant. Just going here for dinner is well worth the trip. This hotel is as beautiful and romantic as the Inn can be. How about a horse-drawn carriage or sleigh under the moon? I would like to dress warmer (I was there for dinner), so I could take the proposed trip. The hotel has a seasonal heated swimming pool, hiking trails and spa services. Room rates range from $ 140 to $ 279.
Eastman Inn offers a beautiful and hospitable entrance and a beautiful living room, which simply attracts guests to just sit a spell. Although only the “overflow” of the room was available for viewing, these were more pleasant rooms than the other hotels in which I stayed, only slightly smaller. Beautiful view of the forest. eastmaninn.com
Inn at Ellis River adds a new meaning to the word WOW. An atrium with a hot tub made me want to go straight, especially after I saw the gamma and pub. All Inn is bright and sunny and offers a huge breakfast room, a seasonal pool, a lovely gazebo with the Ellis River in the background and beautiful rooms. Frank and Lin Baker were wonderful and gracious hosts, who seemed very proud that they had created here, and rightly so.
The Glen Oaks Inn is a beautiful quaint hotel with apartment buildings, Mitchell and Linda. Linda is a baker, Mitchell is a chef, but both of them are wonderful and kind hosts, although Linda did not share the recipe for cinnamon rolls. The 8-room Inn also has 3 queen-size cottages, a private bathroom and some rooms with gas fireplaces. The Inn has 24 night snacks and incredible cinnamon rolls. Just because you¡¯re prepared, Linda claims that you sing a song on the way out of the door, at least for Christmas!
Inn at Crystal Lake - Although I would describe one of the recreation areas and the Palmer’s funky pub, they are two of the wonderful features of this beautiful Inn. There is a unique feeling of old and new here, but it all blends together to form a wonderful hotel. This hotel is located in Eton, close to all the activities that you could hope to take on vacation: skiing, cycling, swimming, ice fishing, sleigh rides, and it’s close to Conway’s free shopping mecca.
Inn at Jackson-Hosts Don and Joyce Bilger made this hotel so welcoming and beautiful! The guest room I traveled was made in blue and had a gas fireplace that was lit on that cold day, and a huge bathroom. The Inn offers free Wi-Fi, an outdoor hot tub, a TV in the room with DVD players (there is a DVD library), and you can literally cross the ski run from the back door. Prices range from $ 109 to $ 249.
Lakeview B & B and Cottages - This beautiful hotel overlooks the beautiful Silver Lake and offers a quiet stay in a Victorian hotel. In summer, the beach, as well as canoes and kayaks, and in winter the lake offers ice skating. The Inn is located right on the NH Snowmobile Corridor, making it a logical choice for a winter night stay.
Notchland Inn was the first stop on our Inn-to-Inn tour. The owners Ed Butler and Les Schoof were kind and welcoming, as were their Burmese mountain dogs, which we enjoyed. Inn was charming, but GREAT; Charming usually resembles small cozy places, but Notchland Inn was large and cozy. The dining room was as welcoming as many living rooms and porches. All 12 rooms have fireplaces with wood-burning fireplaces. Prices range from $ 195- $ 365. You can choose dinner at a restaurant for a nightly fee. Some parts of the year have minimal places; check online at Notchland.com.
The Old Red Inn and Cottages - This pet-friendly hotel offers 7 rooms with private bathrooms in the main hotel and 10 cottages. The hotel has a seasonal swimming pool, TV with TV and DVD and a refrigerator.
Riverbend Inn - This hotel, located in Chocorua, offers exciting solitude with the sound of the river forever as background noise. I happened to see one of the upper bathrooms, which should have the best view from the “throne”, as on any bathroom in the world. The Yankee magazine says that Riverbend Inn is “the perfect hotel in Hollywood, elegantly blending art and antiques without sacrificing comfort,” which is an underestimate, in my opinion. There is a beautiful deck and outdoor seating areas, where you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere here, as well as walking paths. Hosts Craig Cox and Jerry Weiss welcome quests at their beautiful Inn year.
The Wildflowers Inn B & B is a breathtaking bed and breakfast with a breathtaking view of the presidential ridge and mountain. Washington. The overall situation offers a bright room with Asian accents, a pool table, a large (huge) TV screen and all the reading materials that a person can wait for a long time. Beautiful rooms with free Wi-Fi and private bathroom; Jacuzzi suites are located as a lovely gazebo and gardens. The goal of the hosts, Bob and Emily Koch, is to make every guest feel that their hotel is a home away from home. I was there for cookies, but I didn’t want to leave!
