Solidification of the case - technology -2

Science has evolved to a large extent. Consequently, we have a variety of technologies that are aimed at improving the quality of the basic requirements of our lives. Metals are an important part of our life. From cookware to large industrial buildings, metals are required in almost all aspects of life. Among the most diverse metals, steel and steel alloys are most commonly used. Thus, it is necessary to make these metals strong and durable so that they have a high level of tolerance.

Hardening of the hull is the process by which the metal surface hardens. This process is also known as surface hardening. This is done to create a durable waterproof surface over a strong and durable metal core. Types of solidification of the hull, which are often carried out by carburizing, cyanidation and nitriding. This process is usually ideal for low carbon steel. This is done to make the steel waterproof and durable. High carbon steel is not very suitable for this treatment and causes brittleness of the inner part of the metal.

Various types of hardening are carburization, nitriding and flame hardening. The main purpose of hardening the hull is to make the steel more durable and long-lasting. This heat treatment process is widely used for large-scale industrial applications. The carburizing process can be defined as the way in which the carbon content in the outer layer of steel increases. The increase in carbon content makes the outer layer of steel more rigid and increases its durability. But the inner part of the metal remains soft and flexible.

Steel can be cemented in two different ways. It can be heated in a furnace that is filled with carbon monoxide, or it can be placed in a container with charcoal or similar carbon-rich material, and then the container can be heated in a furnace. The previous method is more popular among the two and is almost universally used today.

Nitriding is probably the most effective way to harden the hull and produces the hardest surfaces of steel. In this process, the individual parts are preheated and set free before treatment in the oven. The furnace is filled with ammonia gas and no hardening is required. With this technique, items such as engine parts, gears, cylinder liners, camshafts and others are prepared that are used in areas with a high heating temperature and pass through wear protection.

Flame sealing is somewhat different from the other two methods. In this process, the metal is exposed to the flame of the oxyacetylene burner, which immediately heats the outer layer of the metal. The temperature can reach a critical point at which the metal compound is extinguished by water. This process immediately makes the surface of the steel solid, but retains the soft core. In this process, there is a clear disadvantage, since there is no clear way to record the temperature of the metal surface. Torches quickly heat the metal, and to determine the temperature it is necessary to maintain close clocks.

Flame hardening can also be performed manually. The automatic method gives consistent results and is used more widely. There are four types of automatic flame: flame hardening, progressive flame hardening, spin hardening and combination hardening.

In a nutshell, simplification hardening is widely practiced all over the world for its amazing effects. He invests steel and steel alloys with exceptional quality. Hardening steel products are more durable and can be used for large-scale industrial applications.
