 Save Panther Lake -2

Lake Pantera is located in the center of the earth. For aerial photographs of this undisturbed urban lake, enter 47.42149 latitude and -122.18734 longitude into the satellite viewer app or GPS device.

An amazing resource for economic development, improving living conditions and outdoor recreation is still alive in the northeast corner of Kent-Washington. This fantastic part of Shangri-La can be found smack in the middle of an economically deteriorating urban environment. The busy Benson Corridor, WA 515, borders on it a few blocks from the west. Lake Panther is surrounded by palace estates, housing for middle income, residential buildings, residential buildings and commercial objects. The large American casino Panther Lake, offering an incredible lunch menu, is the most famous attraction in the area.

If you drive Benson (WA 515), you walked close to Panther Lake in Kent Wa. You cannot see it from the road. If you did not know that it was your company. Fifty thousand people live in the neighborhood. Many do not know what it is. Most people know that Lake Panther is nearby, that's all. The old guy I met After 5 sports bars near Coast Lake Panther told me that this is still the best lake for a bass bar in the state. A friend from the church claims that no one knows how deep the lake is. He told me that the old timers say that there is an impenetrable layer of filth about seven feet, but nobody knows it. The young businessman laughed when she told the story of going there to smoke pot when she was in high school. Since then, its area has been attached to Renton. She no longer feels connected to the Lake. My son and his friends from Benson Hill Elementary fished from the bank at the entrance to the State Park at the end of the 116th SE. In the spring of this year, a young man told me about a fishing story at breakfast in the Golden Steer restaurant on Benson at the SE 240th. He often caught Lake Panther with a canoe when he visited Meeker Junior High. He left because his equipment continued to get entangled in the non-native lily that dominates the surface. He felt that cleaning was a problem for the state. With the redistribution, his cherished fishing hole is now in the 11th Legislative District, and he lived in the 47th Legislative District and did not see how he could help in any grassroots activity to save the lake, although he lives only a few blocks From him.

“Lake Panther will sink into the earth in twenty years,” says Kent Mayor Suzette Cook. What a tragedy, what a catastrophe. No public official or agency intends to protect this valuable state asset. I think that political leaders cannot see breathtaking magnificence before them. Instead, they choose financial obligations. Washington State dumped a package of natural disasters that included the incredible jewel of Benson's Corridor in the unsuspecting border assessment board and extremely in the municipality. However, for Lake Panther and people who ride a canoe, swim, fish, play and breathe air, there is a much more pressing problem.

Audrey ll was a comic relief in the Small House of Horrors, but the reality is the poisonous non-native vegetative ashes of our lake. King County is dedicated to combating malicious weeds. By their definition: Poisonous weeds are non-native plants that are very destructive, competitive and difficult to control or eliminate. Harmful weeds can destroy the local habitat of plants and animals, damage recreational opportunities, clog waterways, reduce the cost of land and poison people and animals.

Panther Lake Kent undoubtedly fits this description, but this is not a problem for King County Parks. Who is responsible for the purification of Lake Panther? I’m old, but if we don’t act soon, I’ll live to see the last bounce in the palm of my hand, to desperately breathe oxygen. Frightening thought for me and the children of Kent

With the potential to become a model of urban parks, Panther Lake, Kent WA, remains unknown and ignored. By districts, the Panther Lake community is the most multi-ethnic in the world. We all need to be involved in community efforts. We need to form a coalition of citizens from our churches, synagogues, temples, mosques and cultural communities from all communities in the Benson corridor. We need to take a step forward and demand the saving of the lives of inanimate lilies from Lake Panther, Kent. We need business leaders who influence political politics in order to approach the plate in the campaign to save Lake Pantera. The Panther Lake community should all contribute to the efforts to save Lake Panther. Students connected to the Benson Corridor, K-12 through the IHL, can collect data, build timelines, and help shape a lake rescue plan and enjoy it.

If we work together, our prize can become a central part of urban parks and lakes around the world. First, we need to eliminate the nonliving lily, which will strangle this active body with water.
