Purple carpets and other rugs -2

There are all types of floors to decorate the house, coming in any shade and color that you can imagine. However, if the flooring is of a neutral color across the living space or the entire house, consider purple rugs as accents. Lavender can rise and decorate the common room, or any shade from lavender to bright purple will be adored by a young girl, like an accent color in the bedroom. Dark purple carpets can give this salutary look, given the correct contrast between the floor and the wall.

For centuries, the color of purple indicated luxury and wealth, how long ago, it was one of the dyes that are harder to produce. Now, of course, it is very easy to get purple in any shade of fabric, upholstery and rugs.

Purple bathroom mats and carpet sets definitely have their place in the bathroom. Other bath accessories, such as shower curtains, towels, dishcloths and even fittings, are also available at most department stores or home centers and are very affordable.

Although purple is a great accent, it's not the only one. Any bright color that contrasts well with the neutral base color in the house will work as an accent color. For example, consider placing a round red carpet located under a piece of stand furniture. If you put it under a round dining table, make sure that the carpet is large enough to accommodate a set of welcome chairs.

Surface rugs or rugs for accents, as they are sometimes called, can also be functional. Some people use larger ones to cover a large area to protect the floors below. They are used to determine the decoration of furniture in a larger room, and small ones in the kitchen by the sink and stove.

The use of color is generally acceptable and fashionable, and purple is not only for young girls. Enjoy purple rugs in all their richness and shades for your next decorating project.
