Operation Highjump was a campaign of the US Navy, carried out in Antarctica from 1946 to 47, and it was the greatest work on the southern continent to the present day. The mission was to this day the largest Antarctic flight ever made. This was conducted by Arctic discoverer Rear Admiral Richard Byrd and involved 13 ships, 23 aircraft and 4,700 military forces. The attorney’s mission was to photograph, map out and expand the study of the frozen continent of Antarctica before any other force does it.
The mission was standardized in nature and was mostly military exercises with military personnel. However, it also involved scientific organizations consisting of the National Committee for the IGY of the United States and the approved National Program, which was more directly concerned with the mapping of Antarctica to take into account future US territorial claims. The original code name distributed by the navy to the Antarctic mission was the Longhaul project, expressing a long logistic channel among the United States and Antarctica, although it was later changed to the now recognized codename Operation Highjump.
The mission’s mission was to have a dozen ships and several thousand people head to the Antarctic Territory to train workers and judicial materials in frozen regions, as well as to strengthen and develop American jurisprudence regarding the most efficient Antarctic region. In addition, they were to determine the feasibility of building and supplying bases in Antarctica and studying potential base areas, combined with the need to promote methods of searching and maintaining air bases on ice.
Despite the fact that the teams of August 26, 1946 were not clearly indicated, the main objective of the project was aerial mapping of as much of Antarctica as possible, especially along the coastline. Conspiracy theorists specializing in alleged Aryan or Nazi studies in Antarctica have intensively considered this mission. Rumors began to spread to the fact that, despite the fact that Germany was overthrown, an assortment of military personnel and scientists fled from their native land when Allied troops passed through mainland Europe and founded on the base of Antarctica, from where they continued to build progressive aircraft based on alleged extraterrestrial or alien technologies. This base appears to have been located in Neuschwablandland, a region of Antarctica, which Germany explored and claimed before the start of World War II.
As unthinkable as it may seem, there is substantial supporting evidence of these claims against the German base in Antarctica. On the eve of World War II, the Germans themselves entered Antarctica and declared this for the 3rd Reich. Historical events also give us further suggestions regarding the German-Antarctic association, since these are the documents that Hans-Ulrich Rudel from the German Luftwaffe prepared by Hitler to be his heir. It is recognized that Rudel made numerous trips to Tierra del Fuego on the outskirts of South America, closest to Antarctica.
In fact, Germany completed a very detailed study of the Antarctic and was believed to have built a small secret base there before the war. The truth is that at that time there was plenty of evidence that at the end of 1947, parts of the Kriegsmarines or the German fleet were very functional in the South Atlantic, operating either from South America or a base not previously registered in the Antarctic. One of the evidence was identified by a German submarine that stopped an Icelandic whaling ship called "Juliana". in the waters of the Antarctic, and demanding that his captain, known as Hekla, trade in the provisions of the submarine's crew from their available stores.
Some theorists believe that the Germans, in fact, developed UFO technology in underground ice caves, of which there is information to suggest that this cannot be too great a leap of faith. One of the number of documented reports of observations of unidentified aircraft over Antarctica was Rubens Jancarea Villela, a meteorologist who was the main Brazilian scientist who took part in a voyage to the South Polar Zone and is currently a veteran of 11 expeditions to Antarctica. While aboard a glacier of a US Navy iceboat that sailed from New Zealand at the end of January 1961, Willill stated that he had observed the appearance of a UFO in the sky over Antarctica, which was immediately noted in his journal, even details, including feelings everyone felt involved.
It is no secret that the German Nazi movement had a technology that was progressive enough to create a ship resembling a UFO in shape and size, there are many recorded reports of observations and photographs of these German UFOs. Although they would be deceptive, saying that they held the dexterity and speed of a true UFO, they could not remain airborne for any lengthy period and were known for their unpredictability in terms of navigation and general handling.
Operation Highjump turned out to be a hot topic among UFO conspiracy theorists in recent years, who claim that it was a secret military campaign in the United States that defeated and destroyed the supposedly secret objects of Nazism in Antarctica and captured the German Vryl flight disks and the Mercury Thule Spacecraft. The obscure nazi narration says that Adolf Hitler did not commit suicide in 1945, but, however, fled to Argentina, and then at the SS base he contributed to the ice in New Schwabia in the early fifties, where he restrained his career as a painter. According to this description, the Highjump operation, the greatest trip to Antarctica, is said to have been aimed at eliminating the Nazi occupation there.
However, the most successful achievement of Operation Highjump was the acquisition of about 70,000 aerial photographs of the coast of Antarctica and selected coastal areas. Initially prepared for the 8-month operation, the Highjump operation suddenly returned to the United States just 16 weeks after studying Antarctica, and no ratione ever provided a hasty return. There is no definitive proof of the German UFO base on Antarctica. There is no doubt that something extremely strange was happening on or near the horse continent.
