Its use is not limited to the field of printing books, but it is also used when printing the outer covers of many products. This method of offset printing is one of the methods that led to the possibility of one of the most important things that is used in our daily life, i.e. newspapers.

WORK WITH PRINTING OFFSETS

The work of offset printing is quite simple. It has three cylinders that transfer the image to the substrate. The first cylinder is mounted on a plate. The image is placed or written from the right side up. The first cylinder is placed in the ink, and then the image is shifted to the second cylinder. The second cylinder has a rubber blanket. Because an image placed in the right lateral position, when it is transferred to the second cylinder, is placed in the inserted position. After the image is transferred from the second cylinder to the third cylinder or cylinder of the substrate, this cylinder of the substrate is placed below the third cylinder, and this cylinder is commonly known as the printing cylinder. Thus, the image is again inverted to the correct position. One unique character in offset printing is that the image and image areas are not on the same level. The method makes use of the fact that there should be no mixing of the use of oil and water at the same surface level. This method was adopted from lithography; therefore, offset printing is also called litho offset printing.

There are two main types of offset presses:

Sheet-fed offset printing Printing: in sheet-fed offset printing, individual papers are fed into the press one by one.

Web-based offset printing machine: in this way printing is carried out on a single sheet of paper, which is available as large rolls. Thus, the difference between the two methods is to change the shape of the paper.

As for the advantages of offset printing, they can be easily understood in terms of its presence.
