If you are reading this article, I will assume that you are the first timer and never took scissors, a razor, an electric razor or something else to let the fluff growing between your legs. He may be in a state of total chaos, and you wonder how everything ever got out of control ... but what’s important is that you took this first step and decided to shave.
Before you begin, you may want to spend some time to consider the various hair styles and designs that you can choose when it comes to accepting this hair removal. There are so many opportunities for coverage, we have done a completely separate article about this. It used to be common to simply trim or pull out a bikini area, go with a basic landing strip pattern, or just shave it all off. But in the XXI century, people take a more creative approach to styling pubic hair; shaving or waxing intricate patterns in their hair and even their coloring.
You collect everything you need in the bathroom (usually the best place to do this), so you don’t need to stop in the middle of the process to get something. I will focus on shaving with a personal razor (non-electric) and shaving cream for most of this article. I personally use Gillette Venus Vibrance and I think it leaves a very smooth shave. If you want to save a few dollars on razor blades, you do not need to buy their special Vibrance blades, because they are no different from the original Venus, but do not tell Gillette that I told you this!
Now it's time to do business. One of the first things you want to do is trim your pubic hair with two clean scissors or an electric razor. (If you used to shave, and your pubic hair is not very long, you can skip this first step and start with the main event.) Risks of infection. When you shave, it’s likely that tiny nicks will grow (some of them are so small that you don’t even see them), and if you use the scissors you used to cut flowers in your garden or the electric razor you used On your dog, your chances of a bacterial infection will certainly be increased.
"Trim down" means it sounds. The goal is not to remove all your pubic hair in this step, and then sharpen the trees back so you can get a close shave with a razor later. Otherwise, you will eventually clean the razor many times so as not to damage the blade and possibly end up hooking hair that will never be pleasant. You can trim on the toilet or in the shower, but you certainly want to collect the hair that you somehow trimmed. If you are planning to wear a waxed form instead of shaving, your pubic hair should be about one-fourth of an inch, but no shorter than one-eighth of an inch.
If you haven’t already done this, why not check your hair situation now in the mirror and see how everything goes? You may find that after trimming you have reached the pubic hair length at which you are comfortable. This is your hair, and if you are not ready to go completely naked, there is no pressure. But if you are ready to continue, me too.
Now it's time to get wet and wet. I prefer to shave in the shower after I have washed my hair, because it gives the skin a little time to warm up and give the steam of a warm shower to soften the skin. You can also take a bath first, but have to shave at the end when you are ready to pour water. I also usually put one foot on the side of the bath or on a chair or step in the shower so that I have better access to everything.
Cover your pubic hair with shaving oil, jelly or foam to form a layer of grease between your skin and the razor. I like to use shaving oil and jelly, because I feel that the razor slides smoothly over the skin, leaving no cuts or nicks. If you are desperate, hair conditioner can also be used, but for best results I only use it in a real emergency.
You can also pay attention to the type of shaving material you are using and which skin types are recommended for use. My favorite products are venereal razor oil and venereal razor jelly from the brand Newf. You can use them together, jelly, put on the oil, or you can use each of them separately. Using them together gives you an extra layer of shaving protection from nicks and leaves the skin further moisturized. Plus, none of these products foam, so you can really see that you are very helpful in shaving.
Some gels contain peppermint and other ingredients that may not be suitable for sensitive skin in your lower areas. I have had no adverse reactions using male shaving against women, but I usually choose a product for sensitive skin. Some women shaving gels state on the label that they are recommended for use in the bikini area and, as a rule, have a more feminine scent.
I usually cover the whole area that I’m going to shave off at the beginning, so I don’t need to constantly install a razor and fight with a razor gel container. You can always go back and add more shaving oil later, but be careful with some gels and creams, because if you leave them too long, you may begin to feel a burning sensation on your skin. If this happens, immediately rinse the foam and give your skin a few seconds to recover. If you have another shaving foam, you can use it for the rest of the process, and I would recommend not using shaving foam, which will burn you again in the future for this sensitive area.
Now you are ready to put the blade on the skin. Do not be afraid. If you used to go kicking, you know that it may take a little time before you fully arrange all the contours of your body. Shaving your hill is no different, and each one of them changes, so you may find that these steps do not work perfectly for you or that a different order is a little better. I am simply speaking from my personal experience of shaving for the last 8 years.
Start from the top of the mound, use one hand to gently pull the skin so that it is dense, and with a razor, on the other hand, shaved with hair growth. I like to start on the sides near the creases of the legs, and then work towards the center. After I shaved most of my mound a little against hair growth, I then shave against growth, and sometimes side to side.
In some areas of the body, such as the armpits, hair grows in several directions and to get a very close shave, you need to shave in each direction of growth to get all the hair at its base. But when you first start it can increase your chances of a razor burn at the end, so be sure that you have a lot of foam covering your hill when you do it. Control your fingers over the embankment, and if it is smooth, you will be ready to continue.
Lips may be a little more difficult, although the outer labia should look like shaving your hill. Shaving against hair growth usually gets most of the hair, although you may have to repeat your stroke one or two to catch any stripes. Try not to cross the skin too many times, as this can also cause irritation later. If you feel the need to shave with hair growth, be careful, because you may end up chopping yourself, which is rather inconvenient.
To shave in your genital lips, use your free hand to gently fold your lips and gently pull the razor around the edge of the lip and around the top ridge to get these small hairs that will really agitate your partner during oral sex if they are missing.
At this stage you are more or less finished. You might want to go back and quickly give your anus just to be careful. Here the second set of hands will be very convenient. In fact, you may want someone to help you throughout this process, but try not to get too involved, or you can get a lot more cuts than you expected.
As soon as you exit the shower or bath, you can use a moisturizer, such as a Venereous Mountain Mist, to prevent skin and razor irritation. Try to avoid touching the area excessively for several hours, as this may also cause skin irritation.
If you decide that you like the feeling of a smooth shaved embankment, maintaining this style is simple. You will probably only want to shave every few days until your skin gets used to this constant new attention. If you decide to start daily shaving from the very beginning, your skin may be more sensitive and irritated during the first few days when you continue this process. But as it adapts, any discomfort and increased levels of irritation usually subside.
Although shaving can be a bit tricky and you need to get used to it a bit, most women love the results - and therefore their partners! If you do it only for someone else, do not forget to tell them that you really have a problem and would be very grateful if they left the road to clear the forest too (if they have not been) !
