This path is a 5.4-mile path that connects the Murphy-Candler Nature Trail with the Johnson River Reconstruction Project when it once crosses the Nancy Creek. To get from the center of Atlanta, go down North along Persian Street to Ashford Dunwoody Road, and then go left from this road to the exit. The trail crosses the pedestrian bridge between Murphy Candler Park and Blackburn Park, and then passes by another stream on a plot in Blackburn Park.
The trail is easily moderate, and not so much a change in height. The trail is also close to the Marista School, and the trail is mainly on asphalt concrete. Just be careful crossing some streets and access roads and just gazing at the Nancy Creek Trail. The trailhead is on the opposite side of Lake Murphy-Chandler in the Nature Trail Park, where the road along the road is along Nancy Creek Drive. The footpath dodged onto Ashford Dunwoody Road and before crossing Ashford Dunwoody, the path still quickly crosses the pedestrian bridge over Nancy Creek.
Then the path goes to the left turn in the direction of Blackburn Park, as it is approaching an easy uphill climb. Blackburn Park has a rest stop and several picnic tables if you want to enjoy the scenery before continuing. At this point, the path makes a slow turn to the right, where it starts a left turn for a short distance after. You will pass tennis courts in Blackburn Park on your right.
When you get out of the forest, you will then meet football fields and football fields on the right. Continue to follow the path, turning left and away from the ball fields. At this point, the path slowly slows down to Donaldson Drive. A marker has been found in this area, in which there is a small board dedicated to the park “Father Blackburn”.
At 2.7 km, you cross Donaldson Place before the sidewalk enters the Johnson ferry restoration project, which is partially completed. However, at Durden Drive, the path and development has already been completed by about 4.4 miles. This section then marks the end of your path, where you can go back to the path and return to the parking lot. However, the development and construction of new routes, which are part of Keswick Park, which goes to Chamblee Marta Station, is currently ongoing.
