Personally, I do not like to relax in my float pipe, catching rainbow trout on my favorite BC fishing lake. This is better than my chair in my living room. Yes, animal boating became the basis of my fishing holidays on a boat or day trips in the late 1990s, when I sold my truck into a mini van.
Riding in boats or a float tube is a completely new experience. Best of all, as a relaxation it can be especially when you have the opportunity to become attached or drift. If you are lucky (and most of the lakes in the Kamloops area are like this), you will get witnesses of eagles, donkeys and waterfowl in a closer range, because they are less concerned about the invasion. Wildlife, like a bear, deer, elk or coyotes, often come to the edge of the water to bind their thirst.
BC. There are many lakes that adapt to fishing with a floating tube. To make this experience as enjoyable as possible, there are several considerations for review, such as access. Access to the lake and to the lake is probably the most important factor when choosing your fishing body.
Here are some important factors when you are considering a boat in a boat in a boat. Pays to be prepared when you are looking for a place for fishing with a snorkel.
1. Perspectives - I first decide if I want a lot of fish or big fish. These two are sometimes synonymous, but I learned not to exaggerate my expectations. I would rather be surprised. In the area of Kamloops and in the area of Lake Roche in BC there are many lakes that have limited bag limits (or even fished out and released only). Usually these lakes have fish with trophy size and harder to catch. However, for a fisherman who loves to eat his catch, there are also many opportunities to catch both fish and fish of a reasonable size.
2. Access to the lake body - We are looking for a smooth, tapering launch. It makes no sense to break through the dirt, stones and sticks that lead to getting stuck in the mud with your fins or damage to your waders or tubes. Another consideration is access to the shore from different parts of the lake. Looking for a personal business requires quick access to the landing and clean the waders. When the water is cold, this event can quickly attack you.
3. Access to the main places on the lake - The smaller the lake, the better. Float tubes are not known for their speed (pontoon boats are fast), so you can get to the main fishing places as soon as possible (schools, landings, weeds).
4. Susceptibility to wind - Wind is the single most annoying factor when fishing. You do not have the advantage of sitting high in a boat, and the drop distance can be much shorter. It is important for me that I could find some kind of shelter from any direction of the wind. Look for odd lake lakes with sheltered bays. Wind waves can also be a problem when trying to get back to your car, so keep this in mind when you are wandering a long way from your launch pad.
5. Vehicle access to the lake - paved, gravel or 4x4. The good thing about the float tube is that you can easily blow it off enough to fit in a car, car trunk, or other two-wheeled vehicle. Many of the lakes in the interior are quite accessible for two-wheeled vehicles. On the other hand, there is no shortage of 4x4 or hiking in lakes that are ready to reward adventure.
