Coccydynia - pain in the caudal bone, facilitated by homeopathy -2

We are all familiar with allopathic medication. Antibiotics, analgesics, anti-inflammatory drugs, or anti-allergic pills usually appear in our conversation when we talk about treatments. There, the treatment is more aimed at the diseased organ or tissue, thereby trying to eradicate the pathology.

The homeopathic healing system, one of the most commonly used holistic treatment methods worldwide, differs from modern medicine in many areas. The main goal of homeopathic treatment is to restore the constitutional balance within, to help in balancing the body. It does not target organs or tissues, unlike allopathy, but focuses on the internal balance of health. This is achieved by careful selection of an adequately satisfied means for an individual patient, taking into account various characteristics in the physical, emotional and intellectual sphere. A professionally trained homeopath knows how to recognize these qualities and come to the most similar selection of drugs, analyzing them.

This creates a difficult situation for choosing the most suitable homeopathic remedy for each case. Although the clinical diagnosis is the same for two patients, the medicine chosen may be completely different for both. Every case that arouses interest, and the homeopath, must be very careful not to miss any significant characteristic symptom from the patient's narration.

Although the causative factor is highest in the drug selection process, there is a case that may require you to lose sight of the causative mechanism and prescribe the characteristic specific symptom. This next example will be exactly the same.

Introduction:

Mrs. CM, a woman aged 44, visited the Swaroop clinic for a complaint of severe coccidia, which includes pain in the tail. She has suffered for almost 8 years with this excruciating pain in the caudal bone. The pain began after falling on a hard surface, going down a hill. The pain was tended and during prolonged sitting in one place for more than an hour and a half, it burned intensely in the affected region. This made it difficult to travel long distances. She could not even sit comfortably in the cinema, where the seats were fairly soft, and this could not please the cinema or theatrical performances that were her favorite hobbies. She took treatment from several orthopedic surgeons who prescribed some analgesics for her, but without any significant relief. One of our patients referred her to the Swaroop clinic for the first attempt at treating homeopathy.

Choice fixes:

Hypericum was chosen taking into account the causal factor of the fall and possible damage to the nerve endings. By chance, Hypericum is one of the most common treatments for coccidinia.

Follow up:

The patient was prescribed hypericum in different potencies and repetitions, but there was no relief. After all possible combinations of Hypericum have been exhausted, the case has been reviewed for any significant symptom.

Burning pain, which is usually not documented, drew attention and directed us to choose Apis mellifica. This is a remedy made with honey bees and just like a bee; It is also an inflammatory process.

Apis was chosen on the basis of burning pain, which is aggravated by prolonged sitting. Apis, prescribed in medium potency, three times a day, completely relieved the pain for a month.
