There are many reasons to take your family on a camping trip. Quality time, memories that become part of family knowledge, a tent can be performed on the beach, in the desert, in the mountains and forests, or even in the backyard. The cost of camping sites compared to the cost of hotel rooms is a real bargain. Another reason to start camping is health and relaxation. By unloading a car, creating a camp, finding your own firewood and renting your campsite, you will get more exercise than you ever imagined. As for the rest, when things are done and you are relaxing around the campfire with your family, the silence around you brings you peace of mind.
When buying a tent for family camping, I included some information that should be taken into account:
When choosing a tent you can consider several things. If the family has small children, you may want to get a big tent. There are several drawbacks to buying a larger tent, such as weight. Distracting the tent from the car to the camp may be too much exercise. Volumetric size can also make it difficult to pack a car. Finding a level square and large enough for a tent is also a factor, since assets must be on a flat surface, if at all possible. Another reason is confidentiality, when children are young, this is not a problem, but as they get older they may have their own privacy concerns.
Basically tents will be presented in four different forms. A-frame, umbrella, geodesic or "dome", and wall tents. A-frame is a puppy's tent, but can be large. The umbrella tent is usually used as a tent for families, as there is a lot of standing room with large windows and rain over the top. Geodesy has many forms, but they all look like combinations of connected triangles, and the wall tent looks like an A-frame tent, but is usually larger and has vertical side walls. It is preferable to get a tent with a square floor plan, as they are more effective in isolating sleep and other equipment.
The poles of the tent will be made of either aluminum or fiberglass, and most of them are connected with an elastic pin to facilitate its installation. Many tent manufacturers provide emergency repair links so you can continue your journey as the poles are subject to bending or cracking.
Most of the tents are now made of coated nylon waterproofing, with a nylon mesh used for interior walls. In most of the best tents, there is no net-um mesh used for window screens and using thicker fabric or fabric with a gap.
Testing lightning when buying is a top priority, as they should open and close freely, and not grab and tie the fabric of the tent. The zippers should be made of rust-free material.
Another thing to pay attention to are the seams, as they must be reinforced with nylon tape. The tape must be sewn into each seam to make the seam stronger and more resistant to weathering. The seams in the nylon tent, such as on the fly and the floor, should be waterproofed with a seam sealant. New tents should be supplied with a bottle of putty if it should not be bought. As a rule, it is recommended to start your tent in the yard before starting the trip and apply sealant. You should always allow the sealant to dry before packing the tent. Seam re-sealing should be done on an annual basis, before embarking on your hiking trip.
