A critical review of the visual elements of artistic creativity -2

Design elements are the basic units of a work of art, such as painting, drawing or any other visual detail. They are the ingredients used in the creation of any artwork. Design elements used in art include point, line, shape, plane, color, space, texture, weight, and value. This line, shape, shape, color, space and texture. An artist puts visual elements together to make a statement in art just as we put words together to form a sentence. Every artist should know and understand them.

Line: this is the product of a moving marking tool, such as a pencil, creates a path to connected points on paper. This path of connected points or marks left by a moving point is called a line. A string is defined as the path of a point through space. This means that a transition is required to create a string. Examples of lines in the natural and artificial environment include leaves and branches of trees, rivers, bird contours, electrical gadget contours, such as TV, speakers, computers, etc. Qualified artist uses lines to control the movement of the viewer eyes. The lines lead the viewer's eye into, around and from visual images in artworks.

Dot: This is a small round spot. It is usually created from the tips of writing instruments such as pencil, pen, pencil, etc. Pebbles, fruits, human heads are examples of points in nature.

Form: A form is defined as a closed area. This is an area that stands out from the space next to it or around it due to a specific or implied border. This area is clearly marked with one or more of the five other visual elements of art. This is a unique way of presenting ideas in two dimensions. Forms are flat. They are limited to only two sizes: length and width. The form may have an outline or a border around it. Examples of forms in the natural and artificial environment include those of the human head, stones, fruits, rectangles, squares, circles, etc.

Shape: This is an object with three dimensions, such as length, width (width) and depth (height). It is a form of volume or mass. Shapes can be grouped into two geometric shapes and organic shapes. Geometric forms include tables, pots, statues, etc., while examples of organic forms are stones, trees, etc. The only difference between form and form is that forms have no depth, but forms.

Space: considered endless. This is the distance between, around, above, below and within the forms and masses. This is the measured distance between the pre-set points. The void or vacuum in which other elements are actualized or viewed is space. Spaces can be seen both in two and in three-dimensional forms. There are two types of space in which positive space is the space occupied by objects in an image and negative space, which is the space around objects in a composition or image.

Texture: This is a superficial character or quality of materials. It refers to how things feel or look as if they might feel touched. It can be smooth, rough, rough, hard or soft. The texture can be felt precisely through our two senses, thus the sensation of sight and touch. However, the texture can be perceived in the mind. The texture is represented by four main forms: actual, imitated, abstract and invented.

Mass: This is the implied or actual mass, weight, size or size of an object. In a two-dimensional drawing or picture, the mass returns to a large area or shape of the same color.

Color: It plays an important role in the design elements. This is a reflection of white light on an object or sensations created on the eye by a beam of decomposed light. Color may vary in the degree of dullness or brightness, lightness or darkness. All natural and artificial objects that surround us have colors. Tomatoes, flowers, plants, cars, clothes, etc. Display varieties of flowers.

Meaning: This is the degree of lightness or darkness that exists in color. The value is determined by the amount of light reflected by the surface. Meaning also referred to as tone.

These elements of artistic creativity have their own distinctive features that should be known to artists, especially art lovers, so that they can ripen into creative giants in the art industry.
